Dutch White Oak Herringbone Click LVT

Dutch White Oak is a soft, creamy white herringbone in Icona click vinyl. The 135mm blocks keep the classic parquet pattern, but the pale colour gives it a light, airy feel that suits smaller rooms and bright modern homes.

Look and character

Rather than a stark white, the tone leans towards light cream, with delicate grain patterns that keep the surface from looking painted. It is a quieter floor than a natural oak herringbone, letting furniture, art and plants take the lead. The embossed texture follows the grain, and each block has a 4V bevel that draws a fine outline around the pattern. It pairs well with warm whites, pale woods, rattan and soft sage or blush tones.

Construction and specification

Each block is 135mm by 540mm and 6.5mm thick, and you get 1.166 m² in a pack. On top of the printed design sits a 0.5mm wear layer: a clear, hard-wearing coat that guards the colour against scratches and scuffs. The core is waterproof vinyl, which won't swell if it gets wet, and the Icona Herringbone range is rated for domestic and commercial traffic.

Where it works

Because it is waterproof, Dutch White Oak can go in every room on the list: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens, conservatories and bathrooms. That lets you run one floor through the ground floor without the colour changing at each doorway. It can also continue up the stairs, finished with matching stair nosing on each tread. Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting is by click system: the blocks lock together along their edges, which makes it a manageable job for a confident DIYer as well as a professional fitter. Herringbone needs a little more planning than straight planks, so set out a straight guide line and dry-lay a few rows first. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
