Vintage Haze Oak is a characterful herringbone in a subtle smoked-oak colour washed through with grey. On 135mm Icona click vinyl blocks, it gives the lived-in look of an old parquet floor in a waterproof surface.
The brown and grey mix gives a hazy, aged tone, as if the oak had been smoked and then softened by time. That makes it a good bridge between warm and cool schemes, sitting as well with grey walls as with warm timber furniture. The embossed texture follows the grain, and a 4V bevel on each block keeps the pattern defined. It suits period homes, industrial-style spaces and anywhere you want a floor with some history in its look.
Vintage Haze Oak is built as 6.5mm waterproof luxury vinyl with a 0.5mm wear layer. Think of the wear layer as the floor's armour: a transparent coat over the print that takes the knocks of daily life. The blocks measure 135mm by 540mm, with 1.166 m² per pack, and the floor carries a domestic and commercial rating, so a busy kitchen or hallway is well within its comfort zone.
Use Vintage Haze Oak in hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, and carry it on into the kitchen, bathroom or conservatory without worrying about spills or splashes. It suits stairs too; add stair nosing for a neat, safe edge on every tread. If you are still weighing up colours, browse all our herringbone click LVT floors.
Installation is by click fitting, over a subfloor that is flat, clean and dry. Herringbone needs a little more planning than straight planks, so set out a straight guide line and dry-lay a few rows first. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
Colour on a screen is never quite the same as colour on your floor, so order a large free sample of Vintage Haze Oak and look at it in daylight and under your own lamps. You can have up to 3 large free samples, which makes it easy to compare shades side by side.
