Imperial Grey Oak is a cool, light grey herringbone with a clean, contemporary look. Printed on 135mm Icona click vinyl blocks with an embossed texture, it gives a smart parquet pattern in a waterproof floor.
The grey is pale and cool, with subtle hints of natural wood grain rather than strong figure, so the floor looks tidy and understated. In a herringbone layout that restraint works well: the pattern adds interest while the colour stays quiet. The 4V bevel gives every block a thin shadow line. Try it with white gloss or matt grey units, marble-effect worktops and chrome or black fittings.
Imperial Grey Oak is built as 6.5mm waterproof luxury vinyl with a 0.5mm wear layer. Think of the wear layer as the floor's armour: a transparent coat over the print that takes the knocks of daily life. The blocks measure 135mm by 540mm, with 1.166 m² per pack, and the floor carries a domestic and commercial rating, so a busy kitchen or hallway is well within its comfort zone.
Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Imperial Grey Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. For stairs, fit stair nosing to protect and finish each step edge. See the rest of our herringbone click LVT floors for other colours.
The blocks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. With herringbone, the layout starts from a guide line down the room, so it is worth planning where the pattern will fall before you begin. It is suitable for underfloor heating. The right underlay depends on the subfloor, so check with us before adding one to your basket. Add about 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste.
