Sahara Light Oak 12mm Laminate

Sahara Light Oak is a bright, light brown oak effect from our Home Classic laminate range. The 195mm planks give a spacious, airy floor that suits modern and traditional homes alike.

Look and character

The colour is a light oak with a sandy, light brown warmth, lighter than a natural oak but not as pale as a white or Scandinavian shade. It helps rooms feel open and bright while keeping a comfortable warmth. The textured and embossed surface adds grain underfoot, and the 4V bevels outline each board. It works well with white, cream and sand-coloured walls, light oak and rattan furniture, and soft green or blue accents.

Construction and specification

With a 12mm core, the floor has a sturdy, grounded feel that suits busy family rooms. Plank size is 195mm wide by 1288mm long, which keeps the layout calm and uncluttered. An AC4 wear rating tells you the surface is made for high-traffic domestic areas as well as general commercial use. The 4V bevel on every edge makes each plank stand out slightly from its neighbours, which adds realism. Each pack covers 1.51 m² of floor.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting uses a click system, with the finished floor laid floating over an underlay. Choose the right underlay for laminate for your subfloor; it evens out minor bumps and cuts down noise.
