Frost Oak 12mm Laminate

Frost Oak is one of the lightest shades in our Cambridge laminate range, a white-toned oak effect with a fresh, frosted look. It gives rooms a bright, clean floor on a hard-wearing 12mm, AC5 plank.

Look and character

The colour is a pale white oak, with soft grain lines showing through a light, cool wash. It makes a room feel bigger and lighter and suits Scandinavian, coastal and minimalist schemes. Because the colour is so light, the grain and the textured and embossed surface do the work of keeping it natural, and the bevelled edges give each plank a crisp outline. Try it with white or soft grey walls, pale oak furniture, black accents and cool greens or blues.

Construction and specification

With a 12mm core, the floor has a sturdy, grounded feel that suits busy family rooms. All four edges carry a small 4V bevel, which outlines each plank and adds depth to the floor. With planks of 188mm by 1195mm, the floor has a familiar, well-balanced board size. Each pack covers 1.35 m² of floor. AC5 is the highest wear class you will usually see on laminate, rated for heavy commercial traffic, which gives plenty of headroom in a busy home.

Suitable rooms include kitchens, bedrooms, conservatories, hallways, dining rooms, living rooms and bathrooms. Fit felt pads to chair and table legs to protect the surface. Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting uses a click system, with the finished floor laid floating over an underlay. Choose the right underlay for laminate for your subfloor; it evens out minor bumps and cuts down noise.
