Alicante Oak Glue Down LVT

Alicante Oak is a light, beige oak-effect plank from our Bond range of glue-down LVT. It brings a bright, airy feel to a room, with a waterproof vinyl surface that is fixed firmly to the subfloor rather than laid loose.

Look and character

The colour sits at the pale end of the range: soft beige with a gentle wood-grain print that keeps the floor looking warm rather than stark. It helps smaller rooms and north-facing spaces feel more open. The embossed finish gives the surface a light texture you can feel, so it reads more like timber and less like a flat printed sheet. Long, narrow planks draw the eye along the room and keep the layout calm.

Construction and specification

Each plank measures 187mm by 1227mm, a slim, traditional plank size that suits most rooms. Each plank is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. A 0.55mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. Its domestic and commercial rating means it is built for more than light use. One pack covers 3.671 m².

Where it works

It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and it can continue into the kitchen, bathroom and conservatory. A straight-plank layout keeps the look calm in rooms with a lot going on. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. Compare other colours in our plank glue-down LVT floors collection.

Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the planks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Most fitters prepare the floor with a smoothing compound first, because glue-down vinyl follows the surface it is stuck to. Add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Finish the room edges with skirting or beading for a tidy result.
