Linton Glue Down LVT

Linton combines a light honey-beige background with pronounced knots and crack-effect markings, for a rustic oak effect on wide Anchor XL glue-down LVT planks. It keeps a room light while giving it plenty of character.

Look and character

Highlighted grain and darker crack-effect details give the floor a distinctly rustic look, but the pale base keeps it lighter than a deep brown design. Choose it because you enjoy visible character rather than a uniform surface. With pale cabinetry and a timber island the light background keeps the room open, while the darker grain gives definition under simple cupboard fronts. The embossed surface adds texture.

Construction and specification

Each plank is 229mm wide by 1219.2mm long; the extra width means fewer lines across the floor and a more generous look. One pack covers 3.9 m². Each plank is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. The 0.5mm wear layer is the working surface of the floor: the part that meets feet, furniture and the mop. Its domestic and commercial rating means it is built for more than light use.

Where it works

It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and it can continue into the kitchen, bathroom and conservatory. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. The broad format suits open-plan kitchens and living spaces, giving a generous, uncluttered floor. Fitting and underfloor heating

This floor is fitted glue down: each plank is bonded to the subfloor with a suitable flooring adhesive. Order about 10% more than your measured area to cover cuts and waste. The subfloor needs to be smooth, level and dry first, as a thin vinyl will show any bumps beneath it; a levelling compound or ply overlay is usual. We recommend an experienced floor fitter for glue-down vinyl. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
