Almond Oak Glue Down LVT

Almond Oak is a warm, natural oak effect from our Anchor range of glue-down LVT planks, with honey undertones and scattered knots. It gives a characterful but light-feeling floor in waterproof vinyl.

Look and character

The base colour is a warm beige oak with a honey undertone, crossed by flowing grain and scattered knots. There is enough variation from plank to plank to look characterful across a room, but the overall impression stays fairly light. It balances darker furniture well: a timber table and dark chairs sit comfortably on it without the strong contrast a grey floor would create. Cream textiles and natural wood give a softer, tonal look. The embossed surface adds texture to the grain.

Construction and specification

Planks are 185mm wide and 1219mm long, a classic proportion that gives long, clean lines down the room. At 2.5mm thick, the floor adds very little height, which helps where door clearances or the level of the next room matter. A 0.5mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings. One pack covers 4.06 m².

Where it works

Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. A straight-plank layout keeps the look calm in rooms with a lot going on. Fitting and underfloor heating

This floor is fitted glue down: each plank is bonded to the subfloor with a suitable flooring adhesive. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste when you order. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. We recommend an experienced floor fitter for glue-down vinyl. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
