Barley Oak Glue Down LVT

Golden and honey-toned, Barley Oak is an Anchor glue-down LVT plank for rooms that need warmth and texture. It is waterproof and suitable for underfloor heating.

Look and character

Warm golden oak colour runs through the design, with honey areas alongside lighter markings and darker knots and grain. It has more character than a plain light oak but without the busier look of parquet. The golden tones tie mixed materials together well, such as a wooden dining table, brown leather chairs and soft neutral walls, without making the room feel dark. An embossed surface complements the grain.

Construction and specification

Each plank measures 185mm by 1219mm, a slim, traditional plank size that suits most rooms. One pack covers 4.06 m². Each plank is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. On top sits a 0.5mm wear layer, the clear protective surface that takes the scuffs of shoes, chair legs and daily cleaning and protects the printed design below. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings.

Where it works

You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Straight planks are simple to lay out and suit open-plan spaces where one floor links several areas. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the planks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. The subfloor needs to be smooth, level and dry first, as a thin vinyl will show any bumps beneath it; a levelling compound or ply overlay is usual. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste when you order. It is suitable for underfloor heating; see our underfloor heating flooring for more options.
