Driftwood Oak Glue Down LVT

Driftwood Oak mixes muted brown with grey undertones for a weathered oak effect, in straight glue-down LVT planks from the Anchor range. Visible knots add character, and the vinyl surface is waterproof.

Look and character

The softened colour avoids a bright golden look, giving a deeper, more muted floor that contrasts well with pale walls, cream seating and light wall panelling. Clearly defined grain and knots give the weathered character; they are part of the printed design, so there are no open gaps or splits to worry about. Linen shades, timber furniture and muted greens build on the same relaxed palette. The embossed surface adds texture.

Construction and specification

Each plank is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. A 0.5mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. It is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it can handle busy family life as well as commercial spaces. At 185mm wide and 1219mm long, the planks are narrow enough to look traditional and long enough to keep end joins to a minimum. One pack covers 4.06 m².

Where it works

You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. As a waterproof floor, it handles spills, wet boots and bathroom splashes that a wood floor would not like. Straight planks are simple to lay out and suit open-plan spaces where one floor links several areas. See our full range of glue-down LVT flooring to compare colours.

Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the planks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. Order about 10% more than your measured area to cover cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
