Atlas Oak Glue Down LVT

Atlas Oak is a cool grey oak-effect plank in the Anchor glue-down LVT range. Distinct grain and knot markings stop it looking like a flat grey, and the waterproof surface suits busy family rooms.

Look and character

Lighter and darker planks mix across the floor, so the grey has depth and movement rather than a single uniform shade. Oak-effect grain and knots are clearly visible, which keeps the finish from looking plain. It works well with blue-grey panelling, cream walls and warm timber furniture, where the wood tones add warmth back into a cool scheme. Straight planks keep the layout simple, and the embossed surface adds a little texture.

Construction and specification

Planks are 185mm wide and 1219mm long, a classic proportion that gives long, clean lines down the room. One pack covers 4.06 m². A 2.5mm build keeps the finished floor low, so it rarely means trimming doors or raising thresholds. The 0.5mm wear layer is the working surface of the floor: the part that meets feet, furniture and the mop. It is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it can handle busy family life as well as commercial spaces.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the planks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Most fitters prepare the floor with a smoothing compound first, because glue-down vinyl follows the surface it is stuck to. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste when you order. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
