Natural Lacquered Oak 190mm Engineered Plank

Natural Lacquered Oak in the 190mm width is a straightforward, easy-care oak floor from our Nevada range. The 1900mm boards are sealed with a UV lacquer that brings out the grain and protects the surface.

Look and character

The colour is a warm natural oak, with the lacquer adding a little richness and a gentle sheen that makes the grain stand out. Unlike brushed boards, the surface is smooth, so the look is neat and refined rather than textured. Classic grade oak brings small knots and gentle variation. It is a safe, versatile colour for any room: it works with white kitchens, grey sofas, oak furniture and patterned rugs alike, and it will not date quickly.

Construction and specification

This is a 14/3mm engineered board: 14mm from face to underside, of which the upper 3mm is real oak. A multi-ply core does the structural work, keeping movement low when the room warms up or cools down. When it needs renewing, a 3mm top layer can be lightly sanded and refinished. Planks measure 190mm wide by 1900mm long, and each pack covers 2.888 m². With a bevel on the long edges only (2V), the floor has clear lengthwise lines and quieter end joints. Being lacquered, the surface is sealed and low-maintenance: sweep, then clean with a damp, well-wrung mop.

Where it works

You can run it from the hallway into living and dining rooms, and use it in bedrooms, kitchens and conservatories too. For stairs, pair it with stair nosing so each step has a clean, safe edge.

Fitting and underfloor heating

You can glue it down or lay it floating; the tongue and groove edges join each board to the next. When you work out quantities, add around 10% for offcuts and waste.
