Arden Glue Down LVT

Arden is a wide-plank oak effect with a softly washed look, part of the Anchor XL glue-down LVT range. Pale sandy-beige planks give a calm, spacious floor in waterproof vinyl.

Look and character

The colour is a pale sandy beige with light blonde warmth, and the oak-effect grain is softly highlighted rather than bold. Restrained markings give it a gently washed appearance. It works as the quiet part of a room: a sage-green door, timber furniture and light walls stand out above it. Pale woven fabrics and warm neutrals carry the same relaxed feel, and the embossed surface adds texture to the grain.

Construction and specification

A 2.5mm build keeps the finished floor low, so it rarely means trimming doors or raising thresholds. Because it is vinyl through and through, water on the surface won't make it swell like a wood-based board. A 0.5mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings. Each plank is 229mm wide by 1219.2mm long; the extra width means fewer lines across the floor and a more generous look. One pack covers 3.9 m².

Where it works

You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Its waterproof surface lets one floor run from the hallway through to the kitchen and bathroom without a change of material. Fitting and underfloor heating

Every plank is glued to the subfloor, which gives a firm, stable floor that stays put. Order about 10% more than your measured area to cover cuts and waste. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. Glue-down LVT is best fitted by a professional who can prepare the subfloor properly. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
