Claremont Glue Down LVT

Claremont brings a warm golden-beige oak effect to a wide plank in the Anchor XL glue-down LVT range. Lightly highlighted grain softens the look, giving a light wood floor with more warmth than a grey finish.

Look and character

The colour has a gentle honey warmth, with pale grain markings that keep the overall appearance soft. It connects cream upholstery, a timber table and brass-coloured lighting without becoming the darkest thing in the room. The wide straight planks keep the layout simple, even in a room with several pieces of furniture. An embossed surface adds a light texture.

Construction and specification

Each plank is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. The 0.5mm wear layer is the working surface of the floor: the part that meets feet, furniture and the mop. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings. The XL planks are 229mm wide and 1219.2mm long, wider than a standard plank, so the grain has more room to show. One pack covers 3.9 m².

Where it works

The broad format suits open-plan kitchens and living spaces, giving a generous, uncluttered floor. Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. As a waterproof floor, it handles spills, wet boots and bathroom splashes that a wood floor would not like. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the planks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste when you order. Good preparation matters: a flat, clean, dry subfloor gives the best result, as the thin vinyl follows whatever is underneath. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
