Hartwell Glue Down LVT

Hartwell pairs a light natural-beige colour with fine grain and understated knots, on a wide Anchor XL glue-down LVT plank. It has a familiar, gently warm timber look, in waterproof vinyl.

Look and character

Soft golden warmth gives the floor the feel of everyday oak, without the heavier markings of a strongly rustic design. Wide, straight planks keep the overall look calm. The gentle grain works alongside natural materials, such as a timber dining table, a woven rug and brown chairs, without introducing another strong pattern. It suits anyone who wants an oak look but prefers the furniture to be the focus. The embossed surface adds a light texture.

Construction and specification

A 229mm width and 1219.2mm length give broad planks that suit medium and large rooms. The overall thickness is 2.5mm. Glue-down vinyl stays close to the subfloor, so it sits neatly against neighbouring floors and under doors. Its wear layer measures 0.5mm. That transparent top layer protects the decorative print, and a thicker wear layer generally means a longer-lasting surface. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings. One pack covers 3.9 m².

Where it works

Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. As a waterproof floor, it handles spills, wet boots and bathroom splashes that a wood floor would not like. Wide planks look most at home in medium and larger rooms, where their scale can be appreciated. For other patterns and colours, see all our waterproof glue-down LVT.

Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the planks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste. Most fitters prepare the floor with a smoothing compound first, because glue-down vinyl follows the surface it is stuck to. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
