Pearl Oak Herringbone 12mm Laminate

Pearl Oak Herringbone is a soft, pale parquet-style laminate from our Craft range. Light, pearly tones give a calm, tranquil floor that brightens the room while the herringbone adds quiet detail.

Look and character

The colour is a light, white-toned oak with gentle hues and a soft grain, giving a restful, airy look. Pale herringbone is subtle: the pattern shows as a gentle change of light between blocks rather than a strong contrast. The textured and embossed surface follows the grain, and the bevels give every block a fine outline. It works well with white and soft grey walls, pale woods, marble and chrome, and makes smaller rooms and hallways feel more spacious.

Construction and specification

With a 12mm core, the floor has a sturdy, grounded feel that suits busy family rooms. The blocks measure 95mm by 470mm, a size that gives a well-defined herringbone without looking busy. All four edges carry a small 4V bevel, which outlines each block and adds depth to the floor. The AC5 rating is the top of the usual laminate scale and means the surface is built to cope with heavy foot traffic, so hallways and busy family rooms are well within its range. Packs cover 1.607 m² each, so round up to the next full pack.

Where it works

You can lay it in bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, conservatories and bathrooms. A mat by the front door will keep grit off the hallway, the busiest stretch in most homes. Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting uses a click system, with the finished floor laid floating over an underlay. A good laminate underlay goes underneath to level small imperfections and quieten the floor. Order about 10% more than the measured area, because the angled layout means extra cuts along each wall.
