Sahara Oak Herringbone 12mm Laminate

Sahara Oak Herringbone brings a warm, golden touch to a light oak parquet from our Craft range. The small 95mm blocks create a detailed herringbone with natural warmth and depth.

Look and character

The tone is a light beige oak with golden hues running through it, giving warmth and a sunny, natural feel. It adds character to both modern and traditional rooms without darkening them. The herringbone layout catches the light at alternate angles, so the golden tones glow slightly differently across the floor. The textured and embossed surface and the bevelled edges give each block definition. Pair it with warm white walls, natural wood, terracotta and brass for a relaxed, warm scheme.

Construction and specification

At 12mm, these blocks sit at the thicker end of laminate, which gives a firmer and quieter feel underfoot than slimmer boards. All four edges carry a small 4V bevel, which outlines each block and adds depth to the floor. It carries an AC5 abrasion rating. In plain terms, the surface is tested for heavy wear, so it is well suited to hallways, kitchens and homes with children and pets. One pack covers 1.607 m². At 95mm by 470mm, the blocks are proportioned like traditional parquet.

Where it works

You can lay it in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, conservatories, kitchens and bathrooms. Felt pads under dining chairs help keep the surface looking fresh. Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting uses a click system, with the finished floor laid floating over an underlay. Lay it over a suitable flooring underlay, which smooths out small bumps and softens footfall noise. Order about 10% more than the measured area, because the angled layout means extra cuts along each wall.
